Barry and Van were co-match directors for the inaugural match of this season at Mormon Lake, AZ, covering for Larry and Wayne, both of whom were unfortunately required to be elsewhere.

Van’s report; Most shooters shot in Hunter class.  5 classes were contested.  It was a great day to shoot with clear skies and temps in the low 70”s.  Very little wind.  It was just a great day. (69° up to 72° with humidity of 20%.  Winds out of west at 3 – 5 mph, with gusts of 14 mph, as reported by NWS at Flagstaff airport.)

When setting up the course, the helpers were Barry, Van, Kent, Crystal, John, and Andrew.  Everyone helped afterwards to secure the targets.

Barry added that he was thankful to Todd for hauling the targets and related equipment.  It is being stored at Mary Ann’s home (the club treasurer) in Flagstaff for the summer. (Thanks MA).

Van also stated that the no-see-ums were out in force.  Anyone wearing shorts was bitten on their legs, multiple times.  He then showed me pictures of the welts on his legs.  Lot’s of them.  Van then stated that the longest target was set at 51 yards and the shortest at 11 yards.  From the target distances and kz sizes submitted, the Troyer factor was calculated to be 28.36.  This included one lane standing and one lane kneeling.

Thanks to Mary Ann and Van for submitting pictures for this report.

Here are the scores and equipment stats that were submitted;

Respectfully submitted for Barry and Van.
