September 19 & 20, 2015 – Perry Lake pit, Mormon Lake, AZ

 

Location: At milepost 325.5 on Lake Mary Rd – 20 miles south of Flagstaff, or 1 mile north of the upper access road to Mormon Lake.  The range is on the east side of the road on National forest property, which we are permitted usage through a lease agreement.  Access through closed gate (It will be marked), follow the gravel lane approximately 100 yards, and then bear right to the site.  Primitive camping is available for motor home, travel trailer or tent.  No electric hookups or water is available on site.  Portable-restroom will be available.

Lodging is available at various motels in Flagstaff, approximately 20 miles north of the shooting venue, or at Mormon Lake Lodge, located about 8 miles south of the shooting venue (www.mormonlakelodge.com).  Check Google Maps for area specifics and location.

          Match will consist of 52 shots on Saturday and 52 shots on Sunday.  Sight in starts at 8:00 am both days.  Saturday start time is 9:30 am and Sunday start time is 9:00 am.  This is an AAFTA sanctioned Grand Prix match and AAFTA rules will apply. Scores will also be applied to those competing in the Western States Grand Prix circuit.

Match fees are $50.00 per shooters that are pre-registered.  Registration is open until September 8, 2015.  Late registration, or the day of the match will be $65 per shooter.

Lunch will be provided on Saturday following the match for all registered participants.  Non-shooters can join in for $15.00.  The annual raffle will follow lunch with tickets available at $1 each or 25 tickets for $20.

Match Awards will be presented on Sunday as soon after the match as possible.  Medals will be awarded based upon a minimum of three shooters per class for Open, Hunter, and WFTF, in both Pre-charged and Piston categories.  The State Champions in each class will be Arizona residents.  Medals will also be awarded in Freestyle class and for High Out-of-state, High Senior (65 or older), High Lady, and High Junior.
