TRAC match – July 13, 2021

Only 3 shooters today.  The other guys are off with other responsibilities/activities taking precedence.  Got on site to find Mike and Wayne already setting targets.  Thanks guys!  Five lanes today for a 40-shot match in warm conditions.

Not too bad under the canopy with temps ranging from 91 up to 96 but humidity at 40%.  The heat was sapping the energy from us and none of us really felt like shooting, but it was still better than yardwork, etc. at home!  Ha!

Winds started out reasonably calm, but increased to between 5 and 7 mph primarily out of the South to WSW and doing the fishtail action.  Lotsa splits today.

Mike 39/40 shooting his Thomas.

Wayne 35/40 shooting his Bantam Sniper

Mark 27/40 shooting his TX200

Better chance of rain later today and throughout the week.  Same goes for next Tuesday.

Also Coconino national forest re-opened, so July 24 match at Mormon lake is a go.

After the burgers today, all three of us decided to go home for a nap.  Retirement has its benefits.

Respectfully submitted,
